Time 20m

Yield 1 batch, 10 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 9

8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 teaspoon italian seasoning
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
8 ounces mozzarella cheese, shredded
4 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded
1/2 cup pizza sauce (I used 1 cup)
1/2 cup green bell pepper, finely chopped
1/2 cup red bell pepper, finely chopped
tortillas or breadstick

Steps:

  • Combine cream cheese and seasonings.
  • Spread in the bottom of a 9 inch pie plate. (I used a round cake pan). Combine cheeses and sprinkle half over the cream cheese layer.
  • Spread sauce over that. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top.Bake 350 for 20 minutes.
  • Serve warm with breadsticks or tortilla chips.
  • (I used pita triangles).

Tips:

  • For a crispy crust, use a baguette or French bread that is at least a day old.
  • Slice the bread into 1-inch cubes and toss them with olive oil, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. This will help the bread to brown and give it a flavorful crust.
  • Spread the bread cubes in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake them at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 10-15 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy.
  • While the bread is baking, make the white pizza dip. In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, ricotta cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, and salt and pepper to taste.
  • Once the bread cubes are crispy, spread the white pizza dip over them. Top with additional mozzarella cheese and bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
