RASPBERRY CRUMBLE BARS
Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Place the butter and sugar in the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the paddle attachment and mix on medium speed just until combined. With the mixer on low, add the vanilla.
- Sift the flour and salt together and, with the mixer on low, slowly add to the butter mixture, mixing until it almost comes together in a ball. Turn the dough out on a board. Lightly pat two-thirds of the dough evenly on the bottom of a 9-inch square baking pan and about 1/4-inch up the sides. Spread with the jam, leaving a 1/4-inch border. Mix the granola into the remaining dough with your hands. Break the dough into small bits and distribute it on top of the jam, covering most of the surface. Sprinkle the almonds on top. Bake the bars for 45 minutes, until lightly browned.
- Cool completely and cut into 9 or 12 bars. Sprinkle lightly with confectioners' sugar.
BLUEBERRY CRUMBLE BARS
These bars are always a big hit and are a great way to use those fresh summer berries--though frozen blueberries work just as well. They're especially great with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream on top.

BERRY CRUMBLE BARS
I like to think of these fruit and oat bars as a grownup version of one of my favorite lunchbox snacks. I'll bake these through spring and summer and bring them to picnics and cookouts every chance I get. The oat crumble comes together super quickly and the fruit layer works with just about any fresh or frozen berries that are on hand.

JUDY'S BUMBLE BARS
My mom tried a Bumble bar when in Idaho and recreated the recipe. This is her basic recipe which is great. I have tried dried fruit with the basic recipe for a wonderful taste. Note: Since I got this recipe I have not been able to find evaporated cane syrup. My mom's solution was to dissolve pure cane sugar and cook it down a little to make it thicker. I just use corn syrup.

Tips:
- Use fresh, ripe fruit for the best flavor. If you don't have fresh fruit on hand, frozen fruit can be used as well.
- Don't overmix the batter. Overmixing can result in a tough, dense crumble.
- Press the crumble mixture firmly into the bottom of the pan. This will help to prevent the crumble from falling apart when you cut it.
- Bake the crumble until the topping is golden brown and the fruit is bubbling. This usually takes about 30-40 minutes.
- Let the crumble cool for at least 15 minutes before serving. This will help the crumble to set and make it easier to cut.
Conclusion:
Crumble bars are a delicious and easy-to-make dessert that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. They are perfect for potlucks, picnics, and bake sales. With so many different variations to choose from, there is sure to be a crumble bar recipe that everyone will love.
