SPAGHETTI TACOS

Spaghetti Tacos image

An inventive combination of two family favorites; spaghetti and tacos! I actually heard about spagetti tacos on one of my daughter's favorite shows, iCarly. Carly's brother Spencer makes this a lot. Tonight it just sounded good and I decided to put my own spin on this interesting dinner. P.S. The next night we put the leftover spaghetti mixture on a plate of taco chips with cheese on top and microwaved for a minute and a half. Spaghetti nachos!!

Tips:

  • Choose the right spaghetti: Use a spaghetti that is sturdy enough to hold up to the taco filling. A thicker spaghetti, such as spaghetti No. 5 or spaghetti No. 6, is a good choice.
  • Cook the spaghetti al dente: This means that the spaghetti should be cooked until it is still slightly firm to the bite. Overcooked spaghetti will be too soft and mushy for tacos.
  • Use a flavorful taco filling: The filling is what really makes these tacos special. Be sure to use a taco filling that is packed with flavor. A simple ground beef taco filling is a good option, but you can also use other fillings, such as chicken, pork, or vegetables.
  • Add your favorite toppings: Once you have assembled your spaghetti tacos, add your favorite toppings. Some popular toppings include shredded cheese, sour cream, salsa, guacamole, and sliced avocado.

Conclusion:

Spaghetti tacos are a fun and easy way to enjoy your favorite taco fillings. They are perfect for a weeknight meal or a party. With a few simple ingredients, you can create a delicious and satisfying meal that the whole family will love.
