1 (16 ounce) package egg noodles
½ cup margarine
4 eggs, beaten
1 cup white sugar
1 ½ cups applesauce
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
ground cinnamon, for dusting

Steps:

  • Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Fill a large pot with lightly salted water and bring to a rolling boil over high heat. Once the water is boiling, stir in the egg noodles, and return to a boil. Cook the pasta uncovered, stirring occasionally, until the pasta has cooked through, but is still firm to the bite, about 5 minutes. Drain well in a colander set in the sink.

1 pound broad egg noodles
6 large eggs
2 cups (16 ounces) sour cream, room temperature
1 cup sugar
12 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
2 large Granny Smith apples, (about 12 ounces total), peeled, cored, and chopped into 1/2-inch pieces (about 3 cups)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter a 13-by-9-inch baking dish; set aside. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add noodles; cook until al dente according to package instructions, about 6 minutes. Drain noodles; return to pot. Set aside.

1 lb extra-wide egg noodles
1/2 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature,cut into pieces
8 ounces cream cheese, at room temperature
3/4 cup granulated sugar, plus
2 tablespoons sugar
2 cups sour cream
5 large eggs
3/4 cup apricot preserves
1/2 cup corn flakes cereal, crumbs
1 teaspoon cinnamon

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Butter a 9x13" glass baking dish.
  • Cook noodles according to package directions until tender but still firm to the bite (al dente).
  • Drain noodles well, then return to the hot pan.
