Number Of Ingredients 5

1 1/2 ounces Irish whiskey
1 ounce fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 ounce sloe gin
1/2 ounce light rum

Steps:

  • Shake ingredients over ice and strain into a rocks glass filled with crushed ice. Top with two thin slices of fresh peach.

Tips:

  • Use a variety of vegetables to create a colorful and flavorful stew. Some good options include carrots, celery, onions, potatoes, and parsnips.
  • Don't be afraid to experiment with different cuts of meat. Lamb shoulder or neck is a good choice for a rich and flavorful stew, while beef chuck or brisket will give you a more tender result.
  • Use a good quality stout. A dark, roasty stout will add a lot of flavor to the stew. Guinness is a classic choice, but there are many other great stouts available.
  • Simmer the stew for at least 1 hour, or until the meat is tender. This will allow the flavors to meld and develop.
  • Serve the stew with a side of crusty bread or mashed potatoes.

Whether you like your stew thick and hearty or thin and brothy, there is a recipe out there for you. So next time you're looking for a comforting and delicious meal, give Irish stew a try.
