Time 20m

Number Of Ingredients 5

1 can of Pillsbury pizza dough or 1 can of crescent dough triangles.
4 ounces of cream cheese (1/2 a block), room temperature
1 1/2 cups sharp cheddar cheese
2 Jalapenos - seeded and diced - If Jalapenos intimidate you, then I'd recommend green onions thinly sliced.
4 - 6 slices of bacon - crumbled (pre-cooked works great!)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350*F Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper, non-stick foil or a baking mat Roll out pizza dough or crescent dough onto counter - If using crescent dough, pinch seams together so it makes one flat piece of dough. Spread cream cheese over entire dough slab. Sprinkle with cheese, jalapenos and bacon (reserving a little of each to put on top) Beginning with the longest end away from you, begin rolling dough TOWARDS you, a little at a time until completely rolled up. Cut into 1 inch slices and lay on prepared cookie sheet. Top each one with additional cheese, jalapenos and bacon. Bake for 10 - 12 minutes or until top is melted and edges are just beginning to turn golden. Remove and serve warm or cold.
