SKIP 'N GO JELLY SHOTS
Steps:
- Pour the lemonade into a small saucepan. Add the sugar if using (depending on how sweet the lemonade is, you can choose to add sugar to make the shots sweeter). Sprinkle with the gelatin and allow it to soak for a minute or two. Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the sugar and gelatin have completely dissolved.
- Combine the lemonade mixture with the beer and vodka in a large liquid measuring cup with a pouring spout.
- Put 16 clear plastic 1-ounce shot glasses on a baking sheet. Pour the lemonade mixture into the glasses, filling them about three-quarters full. (You should have 1/2 to 3/4 cup liquid remaining in the measuring cup.) Refrigerate the shots until just lightly set, 30 to 60 minutes. Leave the remaining lemonade mixture out at room temperature.
- To create the foam: Add 1 tablespoon of the coconut cream to the remaining lemonade mixture. With the whisk attachment on an immersion blender or hand mixer, whisk the mixture until foamy. Spoon into the tops of the lightly set shots and refrigerate another 2 to 3 hours. If the foam starts to get thin, add another tablespoon of the coconut cream to the remaining lemonade mixture and repeat the process.

Steps:
- Pour 1/2 cup of the beer in a medium bowl. Sprinkle the gelatin over the beer and let it dissolve, about 1 minute.
- Combine the granulated sugar and remaining 1 1/2 cups beer in a small saucepan. Heat over low heat until the sugar dissolves and the liquid is steaming but not boiling. Pour over the dissolved gelatin and stir to melt the gelatin completely. Strain the mixture into a spouted measuring cup and pour into 16 shot glasses. Refrigerate until set, about 2 hours.
- When ready to serve, whip the cream and confectioners' sugar with an electric mixer in a medium bowl to form soft peaks. Whisk in the tequila and lime zest. Dollop the tequila-lime whipped cream on top of the beer shots to resemble the foam head on a beer. Garnish the sides of the glasses with lime wedges.
JELLO SHOTS: ROOT BEER FLOAT
I love to create new surprises for our neighborhood gatherings, so this is one that I've made in the past, but the most recent that I've posted. I think that they may be made non-alcoholic by using more flattened root beer to replace the schnapps and vodka and adding a drop of vanilla extract (but I've never tried). *NOTE: Prep time includes cooling and refrigeration time. I hope you enjoy them.

Steps:
- In a small saucepan, pour in the flattened root beer and then sprinkle the unflavored gelatin over the top. DO NOT STIR and DO NOT HEAT. Allow to sit for 2-3 minutes.
- Whisk pan ingredients together and place the pan over medium heat and bring to a boil while stirring frequently to make sure that the gelatin dissolves. Remove from heat.
- Allow to cool to room temperature.
- In the meantime, line up shot glasses on a sheet pan.
- Once cooled, add the root beer schnapps and vanilla vodka. Stir/whisk until well combined.
- Pour the mix into little, plastic shot glass cups and place sheet pan into the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, until firm.
- Top each shot with just a tiny squirt of whipping cream, if desired.
- Enjoy!

Tips:
- Choose the right Jell-O flavor: Consider the flavor profile of the beer you're using and select a Jell-O flavor that will complement it well. Popular choices include citrus flavors like lemon or lime, berry flavors like strawberry or raspberry, and tropical flavors like pineapple or mango.
- Use a high-quality beer: The quality of the beer you use will greatly impact the taste of your Jell-O shots. Choose a beer that you enjoy drinking on its own and that has a flavor that you think will pair well with the Jell-O flavor you've chosen.
- Don't over-dilute the Jell-O: The Jell-O should be thick enough to hold its shape when you pour it into shot glasses. If you add too much beer, the Jell-O will be too thin and watery.
- Chill the Jell-O shots before serving: This will help them to set properly and make them more refreshing.
- Serve the Jell-O shots in chilled shot glasses: This will help to keep them cold and prevent them from melting too quickly.
- Garnish the Jell-O shots with whipped cream, sprinkles, or fruit slices: This will add a festive touch and make them even more delicious.
Conclusion:
Jell-O beer shots are a fun and easy way to enjoy your favorite beer and Jell-O flavors. They're perfect for parties, tailgating, or any other casual gathering. With a little creativity, you can create your own unique Jell-O beer shot recipes that will impress your friends and family.
