This recipe I love to make around Thanksgiving to drink or give as presents at Christmastime. The longer you wait the better it is, try and wait 4 weeks. I got this recipe from one of my own concoctions from trying several different recipes.

Tips:

  • Fresh lemon juice is essential for a well-balanced Kahlua Sour. Bottled lemon juice can be used in a pinch, but fresh is always best.
  • Use a good quality Kahlua. There are many brands of Kahlua available, but not all are created equal. Look for a Kahlua that is made with 100% Arabica coffee beans and has a smooth, rich flavor.
  • If you don't have simple syrup, you can make your own by dissolving 1 cup of sugar in 1 cup of boiling water. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  • Garnish your Kahlua Sour with a lemon twist or a cherry for a festive touch.

Conclusion:

The Kahlua Sour is a delicious and refreshing cocktail that is perfect for any occasion. It is easy to make and can be enjoyed by people of all ages. Whether you are hosting a party or just relaxing at home, the Kahlua Sour is a great choice. So next time you are looking for a tasty and easy-to-make cocktail, give the Kahlua Sour a try. You won't be disappointed!
