1 ½ cups ginger ale
1 teaspoon brown sugar
8 ounces honey mustard

  • Preheat oven to broil. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Slice kielbasa diagonally into 1/4 inch pieces.

3/4 cup water
1/3 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup light beer
1/3 cup sliced green onions with tops
3 tablespoons chili sauce
2 teaspoons ground mustard
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 package (14 oz) cooked kielbasa or other smoked sausage, cut diagonally into 1-inch-thick slices
1 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese (6 oz)
2 tablespoons diced roasted red bell peppers (from a jar)

Steps:

  • Fill 12-inch nonstick skillet half full with water (about 6 cups). Heat to boiling. Add tortellini; cook uncovered minimum time as directed on bag, stirring occasionally. Drain.
  • In 1-cup measuring cup, stir 3/4 cup water and the flour with whisk until smooth; pour into same skillet. Stir in beer, green onions, chili sauce, mustard and salt. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat; simmer uncovered 1 minute, stirring constantly, until thickened.

1 1/4 pounds smoked kielbasa (Polish sausage)
Good olive oil
1/2 cup good mayonnaise, such as Hellmann's
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon whole-grain mustard
1 teaspoon prepared horseradish
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper

Steps:

  • Slice the kielbasa crosswise 1/2 inch thick diagonally. Heat 2 tablespoons olive oil in a medium (10 to 11-inch) sauté pan, add the kielbasa, and cook over medium-high heat for 5 to 6 minutes, turning occasionally, until the kielbasa is nicely browned on both sides.

12 ounces light beer
1 1/2 cups water

2 pounds Kielbasa sausage, links

1 tablespoon sugar

  • In a saucepan, over medium heat, combine the beer, water, onions and sausage. Season with salt and pepper. Bring to a boil, reduce to a simmer and cook, covered, for 25 minutes.
