LEFTOVER SHREDDED PORK WRAPS

Leftover Shredded Pork Wraps image

I had some leftover BBQ shredded pork meat and wanted to make something other than the usual sandwich. A recipe on my shredded pork package gave me the idea to make a wrap. This is my version, based on the ingredients I had on hand. I was really happy with how this turned out. This would be equally good with shredded beef or chicken too. I served with with some black beans. All measurements are to taste.

Tips:

  • Cook the pork roast to perfection. The pork should be cooked through but not dry. An instant-read thermometer is a helpful tool to ensure that the pork is cooked to the desired temperature.
  • Let the pork roast rest before shredding it. This will allow the juices to redistribute throughout the meat, making it more flavorful and tender.
  • Use a variety of toppings. The possibilities are endless when it comes to toppings for pork roast BBQ wraps. Some popular options include coleslaw, pickles, onions, and cheese.
  • Get creative with your sauce. You can use a store-bought BBQ sauce or make your own. If you're making your own sauce, be sure to taste it and adjust the seasonings as needed.
  • Conclusion:

Pork roast BBQ wraps are a delicious and easy way to use up leftover pork roast. They're perfect for a quick lunch or dinner, and they're also great for parties and potlucks. With a little creativity, you can create a pork roast BBQ wrap that everyone will love.
