I've never actually had this dressing at the restaurant, but my husband has and HE says it tastes very close. The only thing I think I would change is to put the chopped cilantro in AFTER you put this into the blender. This is my version of a copy cat, but I don't know, because I've never had it. Let me know if you think it is close. I came up with this recipe because my husband does not like the cilantro ranch dressing.

Tips:

  • For the best flavor, use fresh cilantro and limes. If you don't have fresh cilantro, you can use dried cilantro, but it won't be as flavorful.
  • If you don't have sour cream, you can use plain yogurt instead. Just be sure to use full-fat yogurt, so the dressing is thick and creamy.
  • If you like a spicy dressing, you can add a jalapeƱo pepper to the blender. Just be sure to remove the seeds and ribs before you blend it.
  • This dressing is also great on grilled chicken or fish.

Conclusion:

This cilantro-lime dressing is a versatile and flavorful dressing that can be used on a variety of dishes. It's perfect for salads, tacos, burritos, and grilled meats. It's also a great way to add a pop of flavor to your favorite side dishes. So next time you're looking for a delicious and easy dressing, give this cilantro-lime dressing a try!
