Tips:
- Use fresh limes for the best flavor. Limes that are too ripe will be bitter.
- Make sure the cream cheese and butter are at room temperature before you start. This will make them easier to mix.
- If you don't have a mixer, you can beat the cream cheese and butter by hand. However, it will take longer and more effort.
- Add the lime juice and sugar gradually, tasting as you go. This will help you achieve the desired sweetness and tartness.
- If you want a lighter fluff, you can use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
- For a more intense lime flavor, you can add a tablespoon of lime zest to the fluff.
- Serve the fluff immediately, or refrigerate it for later. It will keep for up to 3 days in the refrigerator.
