Really good

Provided by Joanne Sarver

Categories     Smoothies

Time 10m

Number Of Ingredients 6

1/2 c milk
2-4 Tbsp lime juice
2 c strawberries, hulled and halved
1 c strawberry yogurt
2 Tbsp honey
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

Steps:

  • 1. In a blender, combine all ingredients; cover and process until smooth. Pour into chilled glasses. Serve. Makes 3 servings.

Tips:

  • Choose ripe limes: Look for limes that are deep green and feel slightly firm to the touch. Avoid limes that have blemishes or wrinkles.

  • Add a little sweetness: Lime smoothies can be tart, so you may want to add a little sweetness. You can use honey, maple syrup, or agave nectar, or you can use a few dates or figs.
  • Experiment with different ingredients: There are many different ways to make a lime smoothie. Try experimenting with different ingredients and flavors to find your favorite combination.

Conclusion:

Lime smoothies are a delicious and refreshing way to start your day or cool off on a hot afternoon. They're also a great way to get your daily dose of fruits and vegetables. With so many different variations to choose from, there's sure to be a lime smoothie that everyone will enjoy.
