Number Of Ingredients 7

2 8 oz pkg. Cream Cheese
1 5 oz (jar) Kraft Old English Cheese
½ C Sharp Cheddar Cheese, finely grated
2 Tb Dried Parsley Flakes
¾ t Onion Powder (Do NOT use onion salt)
1/8 t Garlic Powder (Do NOT use garlic salt)
4 oz Pecan Gems (coarsely chopped)

Steps:

  • Mix all of the above ingredients (except the nuts) together and chill for several hours. Form the mixture into a ball and roll in the pecan gems. Chill until firm and serve. Servings: 4 - 6

1 1/2 lbs sharp cheddar cheese, grated
1/2 lb swiss cheese, grated
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/4 lb blue cheese, crumbled
1/2 cup apple juice
1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine, softened
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
whole cloves
paprika
Nabisco Triscuits, and
wheat thins crackers

Steps:

  • Also need 1 leafy crown from a lg. fresh pineapple.
  • Mix together the ingredients to make body of pineapple.
  • Once mixed well, mold and make into the shape of a pineapple.
  • Using a spoon, make indents like a pineapple.
  • Put a clove in each indent.
  • Sprinkle with paprika.
  • Top with pineapple crown.
  • Serve with Triscuits and Wheat Thins.

Linda's Fried Cheese Potatoes image

This is a delicious dish to have along with eggs, and toast for breakfast, or with your favorite meat, as a side dish. I also sometimes add chopped jalapeno peppers to this to give it a little twist.

2 large onions, chopped
5 -6 large potatoes
2 teaspoons garlic
salt and pepper, to taste
3 tablespoons oil
3 ounces Velveeta cheese, cut into thin slices

Steps:

  • Peel, and cube potatoes.
  • Cook in oil, in covered skillet, turning about every 5 minutes.
  • Add onions, garlic, salt and pepper to taste, and continue to cook over low heat, until potatoes are almost cooked, turning often.
  • Remove cover, and continue cooking, until well browned, and slightly crisped.
  • Add Velveeta cheese slices, put cover back on, and let simmer for about 5 minutes, or until cheese is melted.
  • Mix in cheese, and serve.

My grandmother made this classic cheese ball every Christmas. It's simple and very tasty.

2 ounces cream cheese, at room temperature
1 tablespoon crumbled blue cheese
⅛ teaspoon white vinegar
1 teaspoon water, or more as needed
2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, at room temperature
1 (5 ounce) container Old English Sharp Proc Cheese Spread KFT
¼ cup minced onion
1 teaspoon onion powder
2 cups finely chopped walnuts, divided

Steps:

  • Combine 2 ounces cream cheese, blue cheese, and vinegar in a small bowl. Add water, stir until creamy, and transfer to a larger bowl.
  • Add remaining cream cheese, processed cheese spread, onion, and onion powder; mix until well combined. Mix in 1/2 cup walnuts until incorporated and shape into a ball.
  • Spread plastic wrap on the counter and spread remaining walnuts over top. Roll cheese ball in nuts until completely covered, then place into a bowl to help it keep its shape. Refrigerate until firm, 8 hours to overnight.
