3/4 cup sugar
6 tablespoons baking cocoa, divided
2 teaspoons baking powder

1/2 cup 2% milk

1 cup packed brown sugar
1-3/4 cups hot water
Ice cream or whipped cream, optional

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°. In a large bowl, whisk flour, sugar, 2 tablespoons cocoa, baking powder and salt. In another bowl, whisk milk, oil and vanilla until blended. 1 cup sugar, divided
3 tablespoons plus 1/4 cup baking cocoa, divided
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup fat-free milk
1/3 cup prune baby food
1-1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
1-1/4 cups boiling water

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine the flour, 3/4 cup sugar, 3 tablespoons cocoa, baking powder and salt. In another bowl, combine the milk, baby food and vanilla. 50 g dark chocolate
50 g drinking chocolate (I used Cadbury Highlights Fudge flavour drinking chocolate)
50 g sugar
125 ml boiling water
2 eggs (separate whites from yolk)
60 g plain flour
50 g almond meal
2 teaspoons baking powder

Steps:

  • Preheat oven at 180'C. Grease the cake dish or cupcake tins.
  • Melt dark chocolate.
  • Combine drinking chocolate, sugar, and boiling water in a large bowl. Add the melted chocolate.Stir until smooth.
  • Add the egg yolks and mix well to combine.
  • Fold in the almond meal and flour.
  • Beat egg whites in a mixer until peaks form. Fold the whites gently into the chocolate mixture.

1 cup packed brown sugar
3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa
1 1/2 cups hot water

Steps:

  • Combine the first five ingredients in a bowl and add the milk and vanilla.
  • Spread the batter in an ungreased 9-inch square baking pan.
  • Combine the brown sugar and the other 3 TB unsweetened cocoa and sprinkle over the batter.
