6 eggs
1 1/2 Cups whipping cream
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
3/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg

Chill covered for 8-12 hours Bake uncovered 350 for 30 min Remove from oven and flip the bread slices onto each serving plate.

Tips:

  • Opt for a bread that is slightly stale since it absorbs the egg mixture better, resulting in a more flavorful and structurally sound French toast.
  • Use high-quality, flavorful bread. Brioche, challah, and French bread are all excellent choices.
  • Don't overcrowd the pan when cooking the French toast. This will prevent it from cooking evenly.
  • Cook the French toast over medium heat. This will help it cook evenly without burning.
  • Flip the French toast only once. Flipping it too often can break it up.
