Time 6h20m

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 1/2 c ketchup
1 c maple syrup or maple flavored syrup
1/2 c reduced sodium soy sauce
1 Tbsp quick cooking tapioca
1 1/2 tsp ground allspice
1 tsp dry mustard
2 pkg (160z ea.)fully cooked meatballs partiallly thawed and separated
1 can(s) (20 oz) pineapple chunks in juice, drained

Steps:

  • 1. Combine ketchup maple syrup soy sauce tapioca allspice and mustard in 4 1/2 quart crockpot, slow cooker.
  • 2. Carefully stir meatballs and pineapple chunks into ketchup mixture
  • 3. Cover, cook on LOW 5 to 6 hours. Stir before serving. Serve warm, insert cocktail picks if desired

Tips:

  • Choose the right type of ground meat: For the best results, use a combination of ground beef and ground pork. This will give the meatballs a nice balance of flavor and texture.
  • Use fresh ingredients: The fresher the ingredients, the better the meatballs will taste. Use fresh herbs and spices, and avoid using pre-packaged mixes.
  • Season the meatballs well: Don't be afraid to add plenty of seasonings to the meatballs. This will help to give them flavor and depth.
  • Cook the meatballs slowly: Cooking the meatballs slowly over low heat will help to keep them moist and tender.
  • Make sure the glaze is thick enough: The glaze should be thick enough to coat the meatballs evenly. If it's too thin, it will run off the meatballs and won't stick.
  • Serve the meatballs warm: Maple-glazed meatballs are best served warm, so make sure to cook them just before serving.
