I got this recipe from Taste of Home, and it is one of my family's favorites. Even though it takes several ingredients, they're probably ones that you have on hand, and the results are well worth it. I always marinate overnight for best results. The flavor is awesome and this has become our favorite way to prepare steaks.

  • Marinate for Optimal Time: Allow the ribeye steak to marinate for at least 4 hours, or up to overnight, to ensure deep flavor penetration.
  • Preheat the Cooking Surface: Whether grilling, pan-searing, or broiling, ensure your cooking surface is preheated to high heat before adding the steak.
  • Sear for a Perfect Crust: Sear the ribeye steak over high heat to create a delicious crust that locks in the juices and enhances the flavor.
  • Control the Internal Temperature: Use a meat thermometer to monitor the internal temperature of the steak. Cook to your desired doneness, whether it's rare, medium-rare, or medium.
  • Let the Steak Rest: After cooking, allow the steak to rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving. This allows the juices to redistribute throughout the meat, resulting in a more tender and flavorful experience.
