Time 25m

Yield 5 sandwhiches, 5 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 6

5 chicken breasts, pounded thin, 1 per person
15 -20 slices bacon, pieces sliced in half, probably 3-4 slices per person
5 hamburger buns or 5 bread, of your choice
lemon pepper seasoning
Lawry's Seasoned Salt
sliced cheese, your choice

Steps:

  • Cook cut in half bacon strips as crispy (or not crispy) as you like them. Remove bacon and drain on paper towels. Pour off all grease, except for about a tablespoon.
  • Sprinkle both sides of chicken breasts with lemon pepper and Lawry's - don't skimp.
  • Add chicken breasts to pan and cook until just about done.
  • While second side of breast is finishing cooking, lay desired amount of bacon strips across the breast, add sliced cheese over bacon. Cover with a lid and allow cheese to melt.
  • Serve chicken on roll/bun, whatever bread you want. Toasted, untoasted, it will be yummy either way, trust me.

Tips:

  • Use a sturdy bread. A hearty bread like sourdough or French bread will hold up well to the sandwich's fillings.
  • Don't skimp on the butter. Butter adds flavor and richness to the sandwich. Use a good-quality butter, like unsalted butter or butter with sea salt.
  • Use thinly sliced meat. Thinly sliced meat will cook evenly and quickly. If you're using thick-sliced meat, pound it out with a meat mallet until it's about 1/4-inch thick.
  • Don't overcrowd the pan. When cooking the sandwich, don't overcrowd the pan. This will prevent the sandwich from cooking evenly.
  • Use a good cheese. A good-quality cheese will melt evenly and add flavor to the sandwich. Use a cheese that melts well, like cheddar, Swiss, or mozzarella.
  • Add your favorite toppings. Once the sandwich is cooked, add your favorite toppings. Some popular toppings include lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, and mustard.

Conclusion:

Marlboro Man's Favorite Sandwich is a classic sandwich that is sure to please everyone. It's simple to make and can be customized to your liking. So next time you're looking for a quick and easy meal, give this sandwich a try.
