Tips:

  • Choose the right potatoes: Yukon Gold or russet potatoes are good choices for hash browns, as they hold their shape well and become crispy when cooked.
  • Shred the potatoes evenly: This will help them cook evenly.
  • Don't overcrowd the pan: Give the hash browns enough space to spread out and crisp up.
  • Season the hash browns well: Salt, pepper, and garlic powder are a good starting point.
  • Cook the hash browns over medium heat: This will help them cook evenly without burning.
  • Flip the hash browns halfway through cooking: This will help them brown evenly on both sides.
  • Serve the hash browns immediately: They are best when hot and crispy.
  • Add your favorite toppings: Chopped green onions, sour cream, salsa, or a fried egg are all great options.

Conclusion:

This Mexican turkey hash brown bake is a delicious and easy-to-make breakfast casserole. It's perfect for a weekend brunch or a weekday breakfast. The hash browns are crispy and flavorful, and the turkey and vegetables add protein and nutrients. This casserole is also a great way to use up leftover turkey.
