Tips:

  • Use a variety of meats. Mini meatballs can be made with beef, pork, lamb, or a combination of meats. This will give your minestra a more complex flavor.
  • Use fresh herbs. Fresh herbs, such as basil, oregano, and thyme, will add a lot of flavor to your minestra. If you don't have fresh herbs on hand, you can use dried herbs, but use about half the amount.
  • Don't overcrowd the pan. When browning the meatballs, don't overcrowd the pan. This will prevent them from cooking evenly.
  • Simmer the minestra gently. Once the meatballs are browned, simmer the minestra gently for at least 30 minutes. This will allow the flavors to meld and develop.
  • Serve with grilled provolone. Grilled provolone is the perfect accompaniment to mini meatball minestra. The cheese is melted and gooey, and it adds a delicious smoky flavor to the soup.

Conclusion:

Mini meatball minestra is a delicious and hearty soup that is perfect for a cold winter day. It is also a great way to use up leftover meat. With a few simple ingredients and a little time, you can make a delicious meal that the whole family will enjoy.
