Time 5m

Yield 4 cups

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 1/2-2 cups whole milk
2 cups unsweetened pineapple juice
1 tablespoon vanilla
1 tablespoon coconut extract
2 -4 tablespoons sugar (to taste)
mint leaf

Steps:

  • Combine ingredients in a blender and mix on high until frothy.
  • Pour into ice-filled glasses and garnish with mint leaves.
  • For a thicker variation, freeze the pineapple juice in ice trays and blend.

Tips:

  • Choose ripe pineapples: The riper the pineapple, the sweeter and more flavorful your mock pina colada will be.
  • Use fresh coconut cream: Canned coconut cream can be used, but fresh coconut cream will give your drink a richer, more authentic flavor.
  • Adjust the sweetness to your liking: If you find the mock pina colada too sweet, you can add more pineapple juice or lime juice to balance out the flavors.
  • Garnish with a pineapple wedge and a maraschino cherry: This will add a festive touch to your mock pina colada.
  • Serve immediately: Mock pina coladas are best served immediately after they are made, as the ice will melt and dilute the flavors over time.

Conclusion:

Mock pina coladas are a delicious and refreshing non-alcoholic beverage that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. They are perfect for parties, picnics, or just relaxing at home. With just a few simple ingredients, you can make a mock pina colada that is sure to please everyone. So next time you are looking for a tropical treat, give this mock pina colada recipe a try. You won't be disappointed!
