1 tsp vanilla extract
1 box (17.5 oz) crispix cereal or can use chex
1 box powdered sugar

Steps:

  • 1. Melt butter with peanut butter and chocolate chips. Add Vanilla. (I do this in the microwave)
  • 2. Por chocolate mixture over cereal and toss to coat each peiece..work quickly
  • 3. I then put this into a plastic trash bag, add powdered sugar and shake bag to coat. Some people have told me they add other things to thiers such as marshmellows and M&m's. I personally havent tried it that way yet.

Tips:

  • Use high-quality ingredients: The better the ingredients, the better the moon rocks will be. Use real butter, chocolate chips, and graham crackers.
  • Don't overmix the dough: Overmixing the dough will make the moon rocks tough. Mix the ingredients until they are just combined.
  • Chill the dough before baking: Chilling the dough will make it easier to handle and will help the moon rocks hold their shape.
  • Bake the moon rocks until they are golden brown: The moon rocks should be baked until they are golden brown around the edges. This will ensure that they are cooked through.
  • Let the moon rocks cool completely before dipping them in chocolate: This will help the chocolate to set properly.
  • Use a variety of toppings: You can use a variety of toppings to decorate the moon rocks, such as sprinkles, chopped nuts, or crushed cookies.

Conclusion:

Moon rocks are a delicious and easy-to-make treat that is perfect for any occasion. They are made with simple ingredients and can be customized to your liking. With a little creativity, you can make moon rocks that are out of this world!
