Tips:

  • For the perfect crispy wedges, choose large, firm potatoes with a high starch content, such as Russet potatoes.
  • Cutting the potatoes into even-sized wedges is important to ensure they cook evenly.
  • Soaking the potato wedges in cold water for at least 30 minutes helps remove excess starch and results in crispier wedges.
  • Toss the potato wedges with a generous amount of Moroccan seasoning, making sure to coat them evenly. This will give them a flavorful and aromatic taste.
  • For extra crispy wedges, roast them on a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent them from sticking.
  • Keep an eye on the wedges as they roast and turn them occasionally to ensure they cook evenly and get golden brown on all sides.
  • Serve the Moroccan-seasoned potato wedges hot with your favorite dipping sauce, such as ketchup, mayonnaise, or a spicy yogurt sauce.
