1 tablespoon minced flat-leaf parsley leaves
1 tablespoon minced cilantro leaves
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon paprika, preferably hot
1 pinch saffron threads, crushed

Tips:

  • Mise en Place: As with any recipe, having all of your ingredients prepped and measured before you start cooking will make the process go much smoother.
  • Don't Overcook the Fish: Fish is a delicate protein, so it's important to cook it just until it is opaque in the center. Overcooking will make it tough and dry.
  • Use a Good Quality Olive Oil: A good quality olive oil will add a lot of flavor to the dish. Look for an extra virgin olive oil that is from a reputable brand.
  • Don't Skimp on the Spices: The spices are what give this dish its unique flavor. Be sure to use a generous amount of each spice.
  • Serve Immediately: This dish is best served immediately after it is cooked. The fish will lose its flavor and texture if it sits for too long.

Conclusion:

This Moroccan spiced fish with sweet potato mash is a delicious and healthy meal that is perfect for a weeknight dinner. The fish is cooked in a flavorful spice blend, and the sweet potato mash is a creamy and comforting side dish. This dish is sure to please everyone at the table.
