1 pounds pasta shells
4 ounces bread
1 units onion
4 ounces cheddar cheese
12 ounces tuna
0.5 cups kraft miracle whip
1 units pepper
1 units garlic powder

Steps:

  • Bring a large pot of water to boil, add box of pasta to boiling water, and cook for about 7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Drain the pasta, and rinse in cold water to cool off the shells. Chop up the pickles and onion and add them to a large bowl. Cube the cheese (or buy the cheese already cubed to save time) and add to the pickles. Add the tuna to the pickles and cheese.
  • Add the cooled pasta shells to the bowl along with the Miracle Whip and mix everything together. Add pepper and garlic powder to taste. The Miracle Whip should just evenly coat the tuna and shells, but not too thick a coat.
  • Cover the bowl and chill it in the refrigerator at least 2 hours before serving.

2 (6 ounce) cans light chunk tuna in water, drained
10 ounces macaroni (small shell)
1 cup frozen peas
1/2 cup chopped sweet onion
3/4 cup chopped celery
2 -3 tablespoons sweet pickle relish, to taste
2 -3 medium dill pickles, chopped
2 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
1 cup hellman's light mayonnaise (may add more)
2 tablespoons cider vinegar
salt and pepper (We all like this with a lot of pepper)

Steps:

  • Cook pasta according to directions.

My entire family loves this salad. I began making it lower carb after Dreamfield's pasta came out and we could eat pasta again! My family likes these things (actually most things) without chunks of anything crunchy (onion, celery, peppers, etc) I usually make a big batch once a month on Sunday during the summer and it lasts a few days of eating it for lunches or even as a main dish for dinner or even some have eaten it for breakfast! Thanks to Zaar I can now post the recipe for them as I have actually measured the ingredients!

2 (12 ounce) cans light chunk tuna in water
1 cup frozen baby peas
1 1/2 cups mayonnaise
1 tablespoon mustard
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1 (1 g) packet Splenda sugar substitute (or 1 teaspoons sugar)
3 hard-boiled eggs, peeled and diced
