1 teaspoon chopped fresh parsley
1 teaspoon chopped fresh rosemary
Few dashes of Worcestershire sauce

Tips:

  • Choose the right flank steak: Look for a flank steak that is at least 1 inch thick and has good marbling. This will ensure that the steak is tender and flavorful.
  • Marinate the steak: Marinating the steak in a flavorful marinade will help to tenderize it and add flavor. You can use a variety of marinades, such as a simple olive oil and garlic marinade, or a more complex marinade with herbs and spices.
  • Cook the steak over high heat: Flank steak should be cooked over high heat to quickly sear the outside and keep the inside tender. You can cook the steak on a grill, in a skillet, or even in the oven.
  • Let the steak rest before slicing: Once the steak is cooked, let it rest for a few minutes before slicing. This will allow the juices to redistribute throughout the steak, making it more tender and flavorful.
  • Slice the steak against the grain: When slicing the steak, slice it against the grain. This will help to make the steak more tender and easier to chew.

Conclusion:

Flank steak is a delicious and versatile cut of beef that can be cooked in a variety of ways. By following these tips, you can cook a perfect flank steak every time. Whether you're grilling, pan-frying, or baking, flank steak is a great choice for a quick and easy weeknight meal.
