Here is my "wannabe" recipe -- how I doctor up a frozen pizza to taste like it. Yum! This pizza also echoes California Pizza Kitchen's Thai (Chicken) Pizza....

Number Of Ingredients 5

1 teaspoon sugar
1 packet instant dry yeast
2 teaspoons kosher salt
1 1/2 cups hot water (110 degrees)
2 tablespoons olive oil

Steps:

  • Combine the bread flour, sugar, yeast and kosher salt in the bowl of a stand mixer and combine. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and divide it into 2 equal pieces. Cover each with a clean kitchen towel or plastic wrap and let them rest for 10 minutes.

Tips:

  • Use fresh ingredients. Voodoo Pizza prides itself on using the freshest ingredients possible. This means using fresh vegetables, meats, and cheeses. You can taste the difference in the quality of the pizza.
  • Don't be afraid to experiment. Voodoo Pizza has a wide variety of toppings to choose from, so don't be afraid to mix and match to create your own unique pizza. You might be surprised at what you come up with.
  • Cook the pizza at a high temperature. Voodoo Pizza cooks its pizzas at a very high temperature, which gives them a crispy crust and a chewy interior. If you're cooking your pizza at home, make sure to preheat your oven to the highest temperature possible.
  • Use a pizza stone. A pizza stone helps to evenly distribute the heat in your oven, which results in a more evenly cooked pizza. You can also use a cast iron skillet or a baking sheet, but a pizza stone is the best option if you want to get a truly authentic Voodoo Pizza experience.
  • Let the pizza cool for a few minutes before serving. This will help the cheese to set and the pizza to firm up. If you cut the pizza too soon, the cheese will be runny and the pizza will be difficult to eat.

Conclusion:

Voodoo Pizza is a unique and delicious pizza experience that is sure to please everyone. The pizzas are made with fresh ingredients, cooked at a high temperature, and served with a variety of toppings. If you're looking for a truly unforgettable pizza experience, Voodoo Pizza is the place to go.
