Time 11m

Yield 1 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 8

2 slices of your favorite bread
1 tablespoon nutella
thinly sliced ripe banana
1 egg
1/4 cup milk
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
butter
confectioners' sugar

Steps:

  • Spread Nutella on one slice of bread.
  • Cover the Nutella with thin slices of banana.
  • Place second slice of bread on top.
  • Beat egg, vanilla and milk together.
  • Dip the sandwich in the egg/milk mixture flipping to cover both sides.

Tips:

  • Use ripe bananas: The riper the bananas, the sweeter and more flavorful your French toast will be.
  • Use high-quality Nutella: Not all Nutella is created equal. Look for a brand that uses real hazelnuts and cocoa.
  • Don't overcrowd the pan: When cooking the French toast, don't overcrowd the pan. This will prevent the bread from cooking evenly.
  • Cook the French toast over medium heat: Cooking the French toast over medium heat will help it cook evenly and prevent it from burning.
  • Serve the French toast immediately: French toast is best served immediately after it is cooked. This will ensure that it is crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside.
