OATMEAL FUDGE BARS
Crispy top, with an ooey, gooey, chocolaty fudge center. I hope that this turns out as well for you as it does for me! I place a large piece of aluminum foil or a cookie sheet under my 9x13-inch pan, as it can sometimes get a little bit of overflow. Worth the little bit of mess!

Tips:
- Use old-fashioned oats for a chewier texture.
- Toast the oats before using to enhance their flavor.
- Use a good quality unsweetened cocoa powder for a rich chocolate taste. If the cocoa powder you have is sweetened, you may need to reduce the amount of sugar in the recipe.
- Do not overmix the batter. Overmixing will result in a tough fudge.
- Let the fudge cool completely before cutting it into squares. This will help to prevent the fudge from crumbling.
- Store the fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
Conclusion:
Oatmeal fudge squares are a delicious and easy-to-make treat that will be enjoyed by people of all ages. They are perfect for potlucks, bake sales, or just as a snack. With a few simple ingredients and a little bit of time, you can make these delicious fudge squares at home.
