EASY MACARONI TUNA CASSEROLE

Easy Macaroni Tuna Casserole image

This dish is super easy. It is also a very hearty delicious bowl of comfort food. The guys in my house loved it. I loved this recipe but I used cream of mushroom soup and added the cheese into the casserole. I also melted butter and added bread crumbs to the top before baking, then sprinkle top lightly with dill seasoning. The resulting casserole was very creamy and flavorful.

TUNA LOAF

Quick, cheap, tasty and nutritious! Mom used to serve this all the time to our busy family. I replace the 2 lightly beaten eggs with Egg beaters or egg whites and substitute crushed popcorn, or GF cracker/breadcrumbs so that I can continue to enjoy this dish.

Tips:

  • Use high-quality ingredients. Fresh, flavorful ingredients will produce the best-tasting tuna olive macaroni loaf. Look for tuna that is packed in water, not oil, and use a good quality mayonnaise. Grated Parmesan is also important to add umami and richness, so use the best you can find.
  • Cook the macaroni al dente. You want the macaroni to be tender but still have a little bite to it. This will prevent it from becoming mushy in the loaf.
  • Don't overmix the batter. Overmixing will make the loaf tough. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
  • Bake the loaf until it is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Depending on your oven, this could take anywhere from 30 to 45 minutes.
  • Let the loaf cool slightly before slicing. This will help it hold its shape when you cut it.

Conclusion:

Tuna olive macaroni loaf is a classic dish that is perfect for a picnic, potluck, or family dinner. It is easy to make and can be tailored to your own taste preferences. With a few simple tips, you can make a tuna olive macaroni loaf that is sure to be a hit!
