Tips:

  • Use a combination of sweet and zesty ingredients: The orange balsamic glaze is the star of this dish, so make sure to use a good quality balsamic vinegar and fresh oranges. You can also add a touch of honey or maple syrup to balance out the acidity of the vinegar.
  • Don't overcrowd the pan: When searing the chicken thighs, make sure to give them enough space in the pan so that they can brown evenly. If you overcrowd the pan, the chicken will steam instead of sear.
  • Cook the chicken thighs until they are cooked through: The best way to check if the chicken thighs are cooked through is to use a meat thermometer. The internal temperature of the chicken should reach 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Let the chicken thighs rest before serving: Once the chicken thighs are cooked, let them rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving. This will help the juices redistribute throughout the meat, resulting in more flavorful and tender chicken.

Conclusion:

Orange balsamic glazed chicken thighs are a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a weeknight meal. The combination of sweet and zesty flavors makes this dish a hit with everyone. Serve the chicken thighs with roasted vegetables or a simple salad for a complete meal.
