Tips:

  • Use fresh oranges for the best flavor. The zest and juice of oranges give these cookies their signature citrusy taste.
  • Chill the dough before baking. This will help the cookies hold their shape and prevent them from spreading too much.
  • Don't overmix the dough. Overmixing will make the cookies tough, so be careful not to overwork them.
  • Use a cookie scoop to ensure even-sized cookies. This will help them bake evenly and prevent them from browning too much.
  • Bake the cookies until they are just set. Overbaking will make them dry and crumbly, so keep an eye on them in the oven.
  • Let the cookies cool completely before storing them. This will help them keep their shape and prevent them from sticking together.

Conclusion:

Orange coconut crescents are a delightful treat that is perfect for any occasion. They are easy to make and can be enjoyed by people of all ages. With their bright citrus flavor and delicate coconut coating, these cookies are sure to be a hit at your next gathering. So next time you are looking for a sweet and satisfying snack, give orange coconut crescents a try!
