Tips for Making Orange Raisin Bread:
- Use fresh oranges for the best flavor. If you don't have fresh oranges, you can use orange juice concentrate, but the flavor will not be as good.
- Zest the oranges before juicing them. This will give the bread a more intense orange flavor.
- Soak the raisins in hot water for 15 minutes before adding them to the batter. This will plump them up and make them softer.
- Don't overmix the batter. Overmixing will make the bread tough.
- Bake the bread in a loaf pan that has been greased and floured. This will prevent the bread from sticking to the pan.
- Let the bread cool completely before slicing it. This will help to prevent the bread from crumbling.
Conclusion:
Orange raisin bread is a delicious and easy-to-make bread that is perfect for breakfast, lunch, or a snack. With its sweet and tangy flavor, this bread is sure to please everyone. So next time you're looking for a tasty and nutritious treat, give orange raisin bread a try!
