Orzo Salad with Heirloom Tomatoes and Herb

Orzo is a type of short-cut past that originated in Italy. It is also known as risoni, which means "big rice" in Italian, due to its resemblance to rice. Orzo is often used in salads, soups, and casseroles. * Use fresh, flavorful ingredients. The freshness of the ingredients in this orzo Salad is key. Use juicy heirloom (or other flavorful) tomatoes and fragrant herbs. * Cook the orzo al dente. Orzo should be slightly firm to the bit when you take a bit of it. This will help it stand up better in the Salad and not become soggy. * Let the orzo Salad cool completely before serving. This will help the flavors to meld and the Salad to firm up. * Make sure to use good-quality salami. The quality of the salami you use will play a big role in the overall taste of the Salad. Use a salami that has a good balance of fat and meat and that is flavorful. * Serve the orzo Salad immediately or store it in the fridge for later. The Salad can be stored in the fridge for several days. When you are ready to serve it, toss it with a little bit of extra virgin oil and vinegar.

Conclusion

This orzo Salad is one of my favorite summer salads. It is light, refreshing, and flavorful. The combination of orzo, tomatoes, herbs, and cheese is perfect, and the Salad is easy to make. This Salad is also a great way to use up leftover orzo.
