Time 20m

Yield 6 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 10

1 cup sour cream (light works fine)
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon celery salt
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
1 (8 ounce) package herb seasoned stuffing mix
up to 3 lbs. boneless chicken breast
2 -3 tablespoons butter, melted

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • In a small bowl, mix together sour cream, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, celery salt, garlic, and pepper.
  • Place stuffing mix in food processor or blender. Process until it resembles fine crumbs.
  • Coat the chicken pieces with the sour cream mixture; then roll in the crumbs.
  • Place in a greased 13 x 9 x 2 baking dish.
  • Drizzle with melted butter and bake 1 hour.

Tips:

  • Use a meat thermometer to ensure the chicken is cooked through. The internal temperature should reach 165°F (74°C) before removing it from the oven.
  • To make sure the chicken breasts are evenly cooked, pound them to an even thickness before cooking. This will help them cook more quickly and evenly.
  • For extra crispy chicken, coat the breasts in a mixture of flour, cornstarch, and paprika before baking. This will help the chicken brown and crisp up in the oven.
  • If you want to add some extra flavor to the chicken, try marinating it in a mixture of olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, and herbs before baking. This will help the chicken absorb the flavors of the marinade and make it more flavorful.
  • To make a quick and easy side dish, serve the chicken with roasted vegetables. Simply toss your favorite vegetables with olive oil, salt, and pepper, and roast them in the oven until tender.

Conclusion:

Oven-crisp chicken breasts are a delicious and versatile dish that can be served with a variety of sides. Whether you are looking for a quick and easy weeknight meal or a special occasion dish, these chicken breasts are sure to please.
