TENDER BREADED TURKEY CUTLETS
I came up with this thinking of a different way to serve the turkey breast. The sour cream seals in the moisture and no one would ever guess that it's in there. A great new way to try turkey. This is my husband's new favorite turkey dish.

This is originally a recipe for outside grilling from Good Housekeeping July 2003. It works just as well inside in my broiler. Tastes like a Tandoori chicken recipe.

PARMESAN-COATED TURKEY CUTLETS
Steps:
- Gently pound cutlets between 2 sheets of plastic wrap with a flat meat pounder or a rolling pin until 1/4 inch thick.
- Whisk together eggs, water, salt, pepper, cheese, and parsley in a shallow bowl (batter will be thick).
- Heat 1 tablespoon butter and 1 tablespoon oil in a 12-inch nonstick skillet over moderately high heat until foam subsides. Working quickly, dip 1 cutlet in batter, letting excess drip off, and add to skillet. Repeat with about 3 more cutlets (do not crowd in skillet) and cook, turning over once, until golden and just cooked through, about 4 minutes total. Repeat with remaining butter, oil, and cutlets.
- Serve with lemon wedges.
Tips:
- To ensure the turkey cutlets are evenly cooked, pound them to an even thickness using a meat mallet or rolling pin.
- For a crispier crust, use panko breadcrumbs instead of regular breadcrumbs.
- Add a touch of garlic powder or Italian seasoning to the breadcrumb mixture for extra flavor.
- If you don't have Parmesan cheese, you can substitute another hard cheese, such as Asiago or Romano.
- Serve the turkey cutlets with your favorite dipping sauce, such as marinara, ranch, or honey mustard.
Conclusion:
Parmesan-crusted turkey cutlets are a delicious and easy-to-make meal that can be enjoyed by the whole family. They are perfect for a weeknight dinner or a special occasion. With a crispy Parmesan crust and tender, juicy turkey, these cutlets are sure to be a hit. So next time you're looking for a quick and flavorful meal, give this recipe a try.
