Tips:

  • For the best results, use fresh zucchini. If you don't have fresh zucchini, you can use frozen zucchini, but thaw it completely before using it.
  • To make sure the zucchini sticks are crispy, coat them evenly with the panko breadcrumbs.
  • If you don't have panko breadcrumbs, you can use regular breadcrumbs, but they won't be as crispy.
  • Be careful not to overcrowd the pan when frying the zucchini sticks. If you overcrowd the pan, the zucchini sticks will not cook evenly.
  • Serve the zucchini sticks immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.
  • For a healthier version, you can bake the zucchini sticks instead of frying them.
  • To make the pesto sauce, you can use a food processor or a blender. If you use a food processor, pulse the ingredients until they are finely chopped. If you use a blender, blend the ingredients until they are smooth.
  • If you don't have Parmesan cheese, you can use another type of hard cheese, such as cheddar cheese or mozzarella cheese.

Conclusion:

Parmesan pesto zucchini sticks are a delicious and easy-to-make appetizer or snack. They are perfect for parties or potlucks. The zucchini sticks are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and the pesto sauce is flavorful and creamy. This recipe is sure to be a hit with everyone who tries it!
