Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
- Heat olive oil in a 10-inch nonstick skillet over medium heat and cook onion until softened, about 2 minutes. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, 1 minute more. Remove from heat.
- Combine Italian sausage, ground beef, bread crumbs, cooked bacon, egg, salt, pepper, and the contents of the skillet in a bowl. Using your fingers, combine ingredients until they are well mixed. Form into about 14 meatballs, 2 inches in diameter, and place on the prepared sheet pan.

- Remove glaze from heat and allow to cool. Use a rubber spatula to scrape down any syrup that clings to the sides of the skillet, and stir back into the glaze.
- Place meatballs in a serving dish and drizzle glaze over each meatball. Top with cooked, crumbled bacon and serve warm with toothpicks.

Steps:
- Drop meatballs and about 1/2 to 1 cup teriyaki sauce in a crock pot.
- Add red pepper flakes to taste (I like them hot so I add quite a bit!).
- Simmer for about 20 to 40 minutes (depending on the size of the meatballs, how hot your crockpot is). You can test one meatball by cutting into it; once it is cooked through, they are done!
- If you don't have a crockpot, you can do this over the stove, too! Just make sure you keep it on low and keep checking to make sure the meatballs don't burn on the bottom!
- Enjoy!

Steps:
- Mix the ground beef, bread crumbs, onion, milk, egg, parsley, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire. Gently shape into 1-inch balls.
- Heat the oil in a large skillet and brown the meatballs. Or simply bake them in the oven on a cookie sheet until browned. Remove the meatballs, set aside and pour off the fat from the skillet. Pour the chili sauce and the grape jelly into the skillet and heat, stirring constantly. To kick it up replace with Kam's Hot Chili Sauce to taste. Return the meatballs to the skillet and simmer, uncovered for about 30 minutes. To keep warm place into a chafing or warming dish, or deposit the whole skillet into a crockpot and keep covered on low, checking occasionally to make sure that meatballs are not crumbling.
- Cook's Notes: Use Welch's grape jelly or Cranberry Sauce. This recipe works great with pre-cooked, frozen meatballs. Just eliminate all of the meatball ingredients in the recipe, warm the sauce as above, then stir in the frozen meatballs with the heated sauce. Simmer on low to warm the meatballs through well, about 20 minutes, gently stirring them several times, then transfer them to a crockpot to keep warm if you like.
- Frozen Meatballs in the Crockpot: Heat the sauce on the stovetop. Place frozen meatballs into the crockpot and follow the suggestion on the bag of your brand of meatballs for heating. Generally speaking you will need to allow about 3 hours for the meatballs to be ready to serve; about 2 hours on high, then another hour on low. Fresh cooked meatballs will only need to be held in the crockpot on low.
- Cocktail Sausages: Substitute a pound of cocktail sausages for the meatballs, eliminate all other ingredients except for the chili sauce and grape jelly.
BRANDY'S PARTY MEATBALLS
The whole crew loved this flavorful and easy meatballs recipe. The choice of chipotle BBQ sauce gives them flavor. Steps:
- 1. In a bowl, mix thoroughly together cranberry sauce, chili sauce and garlic. You can use with or without cranberries.
- 2. Place meatballs in crockpot.
- 3. Pour sauce over meatballs.
- 4. This step should be adjusted to your crockpot cooking time. This one I used a new crockpot and it only took 1 hour (and it was boiling!). COOK: 1-1.5 hours on high, stirring once or twice.
- 5. Low for 1 hour - then warm.
- 6. Leftovers: great for meatball sandwiches with left over pasta sauce &melted/unmelted mozzarella cheese! Great for the next day lunch box also.
- 7. The twist is what the garlic brings to this recipe. One other spin I used was: 1 or 2 tablespoons of left over red pasta sauce (marinara, etc). It gives it a savory undertone.

PARTY SWEDISH MEATBALLS
My Mom's best friend used to bring this dish over when she visited on weekends. I finally got the recipe from her and have made them for many parties, BBQ's etc. They are usually a real hit! Although some may like serving them with egg noodles, I always served them without them and more as an appetizer. Either way, try to double the recipe for the sauce. I like mine in tons of extra sauce ESPECIALLY if you have them on a sterno! the sauce dries out fast, so double the sauce! but instead of 4 pks of brown gravy, only use 3 when doubling it. Double everything else

Steps:
- Place meat in large mixing bowl.
- In another small bowl, add the coffeemate and the water and mix together stir quickly & pour this over the meat.
- Add the breadcrumbs, salt, eggs, onion & basil and start kneading together by hand until all ingredients are very well blended. *Note, I place my onions and basil in a mini food processor and it is so much better for the meatballs because you dont get those chunks of diced onion or basil.
- Roll meatballs into mini golf ball shaped sizes and place on ungreased cookie sheets about 2" apart.
- Bake in oven (center rack) at 350 deg. for about 5-7 minute About halfway through cooking time, I use tongs and turn the meatballs over so that the raw sides get cooked. I bake mine a little longer until dark brown color & centers are fully cooked.
- Remove meatballs and place in a deep baking/casserole dish & set aside.
- For the sauce.
- Mix water and gravy mix in a sauce pan over low heat until mix dissolves. Bring to boil then add the salt, pepper & container of sour cream. You must stir constantly until all sour cream dissolves and the sauce becomes a caramel color with no white left.
- Pour sauce over the meatballs and put either on sterno rack to start cooking/thickening sauce or bake in oven on low temp setting of about 250 or so. The sauce will thicken but keep temp on low setting until you serve or they can dry out fast.
Tips:
- Choose the right type of meat: Beef, pork, lamb, or turkey can all be used to make meatballs. Beef is the most common choice, but pork or lamb can add a richer flavor. Ground chicken or turkey can be used for a healthier option.
- Use fresh, high-quality ingredients: The fresher the ingredients, the better the meatballs will taste. Look for ground meat that is a deep red color and has no signs of spoilage.
- Season the meatballs well: Meatballs should be seasoned generously with salt, pepper, and other spices. Common seasonings include garlic, onion, parsley, oregano, and thyme.
- Mix the meatballs gently: Over-mixing the meatballs will make them tough. Mix the ingredients just until they are combined.
- Cook the meatballs thoroughly: Meatballs should be cooked through to an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit. This can be done in a variety of ways, including baking, frying, or simmering in sauce.
- Serve the meatballs with your favorite sauce: Meatballs can be served with a variety of sauces, including tomato sauce, cream sauce, or barbecue sauce. They can also be served as an appetizer or main course.
Conclusion:
Meatballs are a versatile and delicious dish that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. They are easy to make and can be tailored to your own taste preferences. With a little planning and effort, you can create meatballs that will impress your friends and family.
