Tips:

  • Use fresh artichokes whenever possible, as they have a more delicate flavor and texture than canned or frozen artichokes.
  • If you're using canned or frozen artichokes, be sure to rinse them well and drain them thoroughly before using.
  • You can use any type of pasta for this dish, but short, stubby pastas like penne or rotini work best.
  • Be sure to cook the pasta al dente, which means it should be firm to the bite.
  • Use a good quality olive oil for this dish, as it will add flavor and richness.
  • Don't overcrowd the pan when you're cooking the artichokes and chicken. If you do, they won't cook evenly.
  • Season the dish to taste with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  • Garnish the dish with fresh basil before serving.

Conclusion:

This pasta dish is a quick and easy weeknight meal that's packed with flavor. The artichokes and chicken add a savory richness, while the basil adds a fresh, herbaceous note. The dish is also versatile, as you can use different types of pasta and vegetables. So next time you're looking for a quick and easy meal, give this pasta with artichokes and basil a try. You won't be disappointed!
