SUN-DRIED TOMATO CREAM SAUCE
I'm in heaven when I have this. It's so rich & creamy. The success to this recipe relies on the sun-dried tomatoes. I find Unico's julienned cut sun-dried tomatoes packed in oil are the best. Make sure to pick a jar that the sun-dried tomatoes are still bright red, not brown.

Tips:
- Use high-quality ingredients: The better the ingredients, the better the sauce will be. Look for sun-dried tomatoes that are plump and have a deep red color. Use heavy cream that is at least 36% fat. And don't skimp on the Parmesan cheese.
- Don't overcrowd the pan: When cooking the sun-dried tomatoes, don't overcrowd the pan. This will prevent them from cooking evenly and will make them more likely to stick.
- Cook the sauce until it is thickened: The sauce should be thick enough to coat the pasta. If it is too thin, continue to cook it over low heat until it reaches the desired consistency.
- Season the sauce to taste: Add salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes to taste. You can also add other herbs and spices, such as basil, oregano, or thyme.
- Serve the pasta immediately: Pasta is best when served immediately after it is cooked. If you need to make the sauce ahead of time, you can store it in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Just reheat it over low heat before serving.
Conclusion:
Pasta with sun-dried tomato cream sauce is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a weeknight meal. The combination of sun-dried tomatoes, heavy cream, and Parmesan cheese creates a rich and flavorful sauce that is sure to please everyone at the table. With just a few simple ingredients and a little bit of time, you can have a delicious and satisfying meal that is sure to become a family favorite.
