Tips:

  • Use ripe peaches for the best flavor and texture.
  • If your peaches are not ripe, you can speed up the ripening process by placing them in a paper bag with a banana or an apple at room temperature.
  • Be careful not to overmix the dough, as this will make the whirligigs tough.
  • Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes before rolling it out, as this will make it easier to work with.
  • If the dough is too sticky to work with, you can add a little more flour.
  • Be careful not to overcook the whirligigs, as this will make them dry.
  • Serve the whirligigs warm or at room temperature.

Conclusion:

Peach whirligigs are a delicious and easy-to-make treat that are perfect for any occasion. They are made with a simple dough that is wrapped around a filling of peaches and cinnamon sugar. The whirligigs are then baked until they are golden brown and flaky. Peach whirligigs are a great way to use up ripe peaches, and they are sure to be a hit with your family and friends.
