Time 10m

Yield 8-10 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 6

16 ounces semisweet chocolate
1 pint heavy cream
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
1/2 cup pecan pieces
1/2 cup peanut butter
9 inches graham cracker pie crust

Steps:

  • Chop chocolate into small pieces and place in a bowl.
  • In a large saucepan, bring cream and butter to boil.
  • Pour hot mixture over chocolate and stir until the chocolate has melted and the mixture is smooth.
  • Stir in pecans and peanut butter, pour into pie shell and refrigerate until set.
  • Serve with whipped or ice cream.

Tips:

  • Use high-quality chocolate for the best flavor. A semisweet or bittersweet chocolate with a cocoa content of at least 60% is ideal.
  • Make sure the butter and cream cheese are at room temperature before you start baking. This will help them to mix together smoothly and create a creamy filling.
  • If you don't have a tart pan, you can use a 9-inch pie plate instead. Just be sure to trim the edges of the crust so that they don't hang over the sides of the pan.
  • To prevent the tart from cracking, let it cool completely before you slice it.

Conclusion:

This peanut butter chocolate tart is a delicious and decadent dessert that is perfect for any occasion. The creamy peanut butter filling pairs perfectly with the rich chocolate crust, and the tart is topped with a layer of chocolate ganache for an extra special touch. Whether you're serving it to friends or family, this tart is sure to be a hit.
