DELICIOUS POPCORN CRUNCH
Popcorn and candy in a candy sauce. Great for the holidays! Not too chewy and won't stick to your teeth (unless you overcook the sauce)! You can customize the candy, dried fruit, and nuts to what you like. Canadian Smarties® can be used instead of M&M's®. I've known people to press the mixture into a cake pan and cut pieces, too.

Tips:
- Be cautious with measurements: Exact measurements are crucial for achieving the perfect balance of flavors and textures, especially when combining different ingredients. Small adjustments can significantly impact the outcome.
- Choose the right popcorn: Popcorn kernels come in various sizes and shapes, affecting the final texture of the popcorn. For this recipe, smaller kernels like butterfly popcorn are ideal as they create tender and fluffy popcorn.
- Invest in good quality peanut butter: The taste of the peanut butter will greatly influence the flavor of the popcorn crunch. Opt for a creamy, smooth peanut butter made with 100% peanuts to ensure a rich and nutty flavor.
- Have patience when melting marshmallows: Melting marshmallows requires patience and low heat. Continuously stir to prevent burning and scorching, which can alter the taste and texture of the marshmallow mixture.
- Work quickly with the marshmallow mixture: Once the marshmallow mixture is ready, work quickly to coat the popcorn and add desired toppings before it starts to set. This ensures an even distribution of marshmallows and toppings.
Conclusion:
Peanut butter popcorn crunch is a delightful and versatile snack that combines the sweet and salty flavors of popcorn, peanut butter, and various toppings. Whether you prefer a simple combination of popcorn and peanut butter or a more elaborate version with chocolate chips, pretzels, or nuts, this recipe offers endless possibilities for customization.
