Peanut Lovers' Brownies
Peanut butter and chocolate are a classic combination, so it's no surprise that these brownies are a favorite. With flaky peanut butter, chunks of peanut butter-stuffed pretzels, and a chocolate ganache, these brownies are rich, decadent, and oh-so-peanut buttery.
Baking
- Line a 9x13 inch pan with parchment paper, and pre-bake the peanut butter-stuffed pretzels for about 5 minutes to help prevent the chocolate from melting.
- Use a spoon to drop the batter by spoonfuls into the prepared pan, making sure to leave some space between the spoonfuls so that the brownies don't stick together.
- Bake the brownies for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with just a few crumbs attached.
- Let the brownies cool completely before frosting them.
Frosting
- Combine chocolate in a heatproof bowl set over a pot of simmering water. Stir until the chocolate is melted and smooth.
- Remove the bowl from the heat and let the chocolate cool for a few minutes.
- Add the peanut butter and whisk until combined.
- Let the frosting cool for 15-20 minutes, until it's thick enough to spread on the brownies.
Assembly
- Pour the chocolate frosting over the cooled brownies and spread it out evenly.
- Sprink the top with peanuts or peanut butter-stuffed pretzels until completely covered.
- Chill the brownies for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Conclusion
These peanut butter brownies are the perfect dessert for any occasion. They're rich, decadent, and have the perfect combination of peanut butter and chocolate. They're also easy to make and can be made ahead of time, so you can enjoy them even when you're short on time.
