4 tablespoons chopped parsley leaves
2 teaspoons kosher salt
1 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
1 tablespoon chopped rosemary leaves
4 trout fillets
4 ounces unsalted butter, room temperature
Horseradish Cream, recipe follows

1/2 apple, cored and sliced into 1/2 moons
1/4 pound fresh horseradish root, peeled, coarsely grated

Tips:

  • Choose fresh, high-quality trout fillets for the best flavor and texture.
  • If the trout fillets are frozen, thaw them completely before cooking.
  • Use a light hand when applying the pecan crust to the trout fillets. Too much crust can overpower the delicate flavor of the fish.
  • Cook the trout fillets over medium heat to prevent them from overcooking and drying out.
  • Serve the trout fillets immediately with your favorite sides, such as roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a simple green salad.

Conclusion:

Pecan-crusted trout is an easy and delicious dish that is perfect for a weeknight meal or a special occasion.
