Tips:

  • Choosing the right pork roast is crucial for this recipe. Pork shoulder or pork butt is the best cut to use as it has a good amount of fat that will help keep the meat moist during cooking.
  • Searing the pork roast before slow cooking is an important step as it helps to develop a flavorful crust and lock in the juices.
  • Using a variety of spices and seasonings in the rub will add depth of flavor to the pork roast. Be sure to coat the roast evenly with the rub so that all sides are well-seasoned.
  • Adding liquid to the slow cooker is essential to prevent the pork roast from drying out. Chicken broth, beef broth, or water can all be used, depending on your preference.
  • Cooking the pork roast on low heat for a long period of time will help to tenderize the meat and make it fall-apart tender.

Conclusion:

Pepperoncini pork roast is an easy and flavorful dish that is perfect for a weeknight meal. The combination of sweet and spicy flavors, along with the tender pork, makes this dish a surefire hit. Serve it with your favorite sides, such as mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or a simple salad.
