PERCY JACKSON'S BLUE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

Steps:

• Mix the cake mix with egg and vegetable oil
• Mix in chocolate chips.
• Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
• Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
• Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon measuring spoon, scoop out balls of cookie dough.
• Add a few extra chocolate chips into the dough.
• Bake for 7-9 minutes.
• Cool blue chocolate chip cookies completely before enjoying.

BLUE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES | PERCY JACKSON

Steps:

• Start by making sure your ingredients are at room temperature.
• Preheat your oven to 160C.
• In a mixer, cream together the butter, sugars, and eggs.
• Add in a splash of blue food dye. If you add it to just the wet ingredients, you'll get a nice blue consistency through your cookies.
• Stir in the flour, then stir in the choc chip pieces.
• Scoop a tablespoon onto a baking paper-lined tray. No need to press them down, they'll flat themselves.
• If I'm wanting the cookies to look 'pretty' and Instagram or Pinterest worthy, I'll press a few extra chocolate chip pieces onto the top of the cookie dough ball.
• Bake for ~15 minutes (depending on your oven).
• Remove from oven and let cool before eating.

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 350°F.
• Mix butter and sugar.
• Add egg and vanilla to mixture (you can use an electrical mixer for this).
• Add flour, salt and chocolate chips (if there is a lot of flour left over, use your hands to mix it in.) If the dough is too wet add a bit more flour.
• Add the blue food colouring.
• Mold the dough into little balls and place evenly on a UNGREASED cookie sheet (far enough so they don't bake together).
• Put them in the oven for 8-12 minutes.
• When finished baking, put them on a cooling rack and enjoy!
