Tips:

  • Use a 9x13 inch baking dish for this recipe. A larger dish will result in a thinner cake, while a smaller dish will result in a thicker cake.
  • Be sure to use crushed pineapple, not pineapple chunks. Pineapple chunks will not distribute evenly throughout the cake and will make it difficult to cut.
  • If you don't have chopped pecans on hand, you can use walnuts or almonds instead.
  • If you want a more decadent cake, you can add a layer of cream cheese frosting on top.
  • This cake is best served warm, but it can also be served cold.

Conclusion:

Pineapple Pecan Dump Cake is an easy and delicious dessert that is perfect for any occasion. It is made with just a few simple ingredients and can be prepared in minutes. The cake is moist and flavorful, with a sweet and tangy filling. The pecans add a nice crunch and nutty flavor. This cake is sure to be a hit with everyone who tries it.
