PINEAPPLE PUDDING PIE

I make this pie ahead of time so it can chill in the refrigerator before dinner. I sometimes make the crust from scratch but I recommend using a convenient store-bought crust when time is short.-Ron Gardner, Grand Haven, Michigan

BANANA-PINEAPPLE VANILLA PUDDING PIE

Banana-Pineapple Vanilla Pudding Pie image

My favorite dessert recipe. Pulled original recipe from one of those homemade cookbooks put together by my company years ago. Don't remember the original as I make it from memory now, but get so many compliments every time I make it. Warning: will satisfy that sweet tooth!

Number Of Ingredients 9

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, at room temperature
½ cup white sugar
1 (9 inch) prepared graham cracker crust

Tips:

  • Use fresh pineapple. Fresh pineapple has a brighter flavor and more nutrients than canned pineapple.
  • Don't overcook the pineapple. Overcooked pineapple will become mushy and lose its flavor.
  • Use a good quality pudding mix. A good quality pudding mix will make a smoother and creamier pie.
  • Chill the pie before serving. Chilling the pie will help it to set and make it easier to slice.
  • Serve the pie with whipped cream or ice cream. Whipped cream or ice cream will add a delicious finishing touch to the pie.

Conclusion:

Pineapple pudding pie is a delicious and easy-to-make dessert that is perfect for any occasion. With its creamy pudding filling, sweet pineapple chunks, and flaky crust, this pie is sure to be a hit with everyone who tries it.
